Rolls-Royce Phantom I
The Rolls-Royce Phantom was manufactured in the U.K and U.S. In comparison to the silver Ghost, the Phantom was a major improvement. The initial version of Rolls-Royce Phantom had a pushrod type-OHV-6 engine, which is positioned between the two cylinders with removable heads. The engine is capable of pulling this massive car effortlessly, thanks to its 4¼ inches of bore and 5½ inches of stroke. The mechanical parts and chassis were manufactured by Rolls-Royce, but some of the things were designed by BMW.
Rolls-Royce Phantom II
The Rolls-Royce Phantom II was featured with the good old 7.7 Liter OHV engine of its previous version. The engine was paired to 4-speed manual-transmission. The mechanical parts and chassis were manufactured by Rolls-Royce; other than that, the body, and several other components were manufactured and fitted by coachbuilders.
Rolls-Royce Phantom III
The Rolls-Royce Phantom III was introduced in the year 1936; the Rolls-Royce Phantom III replaced the previous version Phantom II. The construction of chassis part of Phantom III took place from 1936 to 1939.
Phantom III had a V12 engine with 3.25 inches bore dia, and 4.5 inches of stroke length. The Phantom III had a pushrod type engine with overhead valves.
It had two ignition systems, two coils, two distributors, and 24 spark plugs. The fuel was injected with the help of a SU electric pump.
Rolls-Royce Phantom IV
The Phantom IV was manufactured in limited numbers by Rolls-Royce from 1950 to 1956, and a total of only 18 units were manufactured during a time span of 5 years. The chassis for Phantom IV was industrialized from Silver Wraith, lengthened and strengthened significantly to a wheelbase of 12 inches and total length of 19 inches.
Rolls-Royce Phantom V
The Phantom V is a four door large salon manufactured by Rolls-Royce from the year 1959 to 1968. The car was manufactured from the concept of Silver Cloud II, with which, it shares the V8 engine.
The 6,230 cc V8 engine had dual SU carburetors, and the vehicle had wheelbase of 3,683 mm, standard power steering and 4-speed auto-transmission.
Rolls-Royce Phantom VI
The Phantom VI is an ultra exclusive sedan manufactured by Rolls-Royce from the year 1968-1991. The Rolls-Royce Phantom VI shared the design concept with its previous version; Phantom V.
The Phantom VI was the last version manufactured with the separate chassis in the Rolls-Royce lineup. The Phantom VI featured leaf springs at the rear end and coil springs in the front end. The updates were made in 1979, and the engine capability was improved to 6,750 cc and a three speed auto-gear box.
Current Generation Rolls-Royce Phantom

The new Phantom has a 6.7-liter V12 engine capable of generating with 453 hp and a torque level of 531 pound-feet. Power is transferred to the rear wheels all the way through a 6-speed auto- transmission. The curb weight of the vehicle is close to 3 tones, but the vehicle can still speed up from 0-60 mph in just 5.7 sec.
